What one-time file sharing is
One-time file sharing is about the intent of the transfer: you need to move a file from point A to point B once, and you don't want a permanent copy hosted somewhere afterward. Instead of uploading to a drive that keeps the file (and your account) indefinitely, you create a transfer with a built-in expiration.
It's ideal for sending a document, screenshot, or design file to one person, one time — without signing up and without leaving a copy behind.
How it works on Khamli
- Attach one or more files (up to 10, 500 MB each).
- Choose an expiry — 30 minutes to 24 hours.
- Send. You instantly receive a unique 4-character code.
- Share the code with the recipient.
- The recipient enters the code to download the file.
- When the timer ends, the file self-destructs.
Time-based, not download-based
Khamli expires files on a timer, not on first download. That means the recipient can re-download the file as often as they need while it's live — helpful if a download fails or the transfer is interrupted — but it also means the file is not strictly “one download only.” If single-download deletion is a hard requirement, choose a service built specifically for that.
